SOS Children's Villages Greece

SOS Children’s Villages Greece is a non-profit Charity Association helping children who are in need of care because they have lost their parents or are homeless for other reasons.
SOS Children's Villages focus on family-based, long-term care of children who can no longer live with their biological families. Children grow up in a stable family environment with a mother-carer and are supported individually until they become independent young adults.
SOS Children’s Villages Greece, currently operate:
• SOS Children’s Villages in Athens, Thessaloniki and Alexandroupolis.
• SOS Youth Facilities in Athens and Thessaloniki
• A Day Care Centre for children and their families in Athens
• A Hostel for Adolescents with Offending Behaviour in Halandri-Athens
• A Guest House “SOS-ELIZA”, for abused and neglected children up to the age of 5, in cooperation with the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty  to Children  ELIZA, in Marousi-Athens
All expenses are covered by private donations and contributions.
